The Paws Out Promise

Paws Out values relationships with both dog owners and their dog(s). With that said, there is a standard of excellence that is met in every service transaction. These standards are upheld through the Paws Out mission statement and core values.

Mission Statement: Dog owners allow Paws Out to provide comfort in everyday life through the meaningful connections established with their dogs.

Core Values

Integrity – We want you to be able to count on and trust that your dog is being taken care of with the utmost of our ability.
Happy is healthy – Meeting your dog’s specific needs to keep them happy.
Always give back – 5% of all profits will be donated to a local nonprofit no-kill animal rescue.

Meet and Greet

Meet and greets are great because they allow everyone involved to become acquainted. A meet and greet will be scheduled prior to any services to get a general understanding of your dog’s behaviors and how to keep your pup happy and healthy.

For cancellations of any services a 24 hour notice is required to avoid charges. Failure to meet this requirement will result in a 50% charge. Failure to notify Paws Out of a cancellation before arrival to your home will result in a 100% charge.

In the event of inclement weather, Paws Out uses judgement calls to determine whether services are safe. If a service is cancelled on behalf of Paws Out due to inclement weather, there will be no service charge.

The dog owner agrees to provide keys and arrange access to the dog for the agreed appointment. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation for that day’s service and will be paid in full.

Medical Emergencies

Paws Out will make every effort to notify the dog owner(s) in the event of an emergency. If the owner cannot be reached, Paws Out will make an effort to notify an emergency contact. However, if no contact can be made with the dog owner(s) or emergency contact, Paws Out reserves the right to make an informed decision, with the advice of a veterinarian regarding your dog’s health, with your dog’s best interest in mind. Although Paws Out carries liability insurance, the dog owner is responsible for any outstanding veterinary payments.

Whenever possible medical treatment will be carried out by the Client’s usual/preferred Vet, but this cannot be guaranteed (e.g. in an emergency) and the dog owner accepts that Paws Out may at their discretion use any registered Veterinarian.

Payment for services is to be made within 7 days of receipt of invoice, via cash, venmo or check. If payment is not made within the 7 days after receiving the invoice a late fee of $5 dollars/day after the 7 days will be added to the total bill.

The dog owner certifies that their dog(s) is in good health, up to date with all vaccinations, and has not harmed or shown aggression or threatening behavior that has not already been addressed with Paws Out.

Paws Out reserves the right to refuse service to any dog, for any reason.

The dog owner consents to their dog being photographed, videotaped, and/or used in any media or advertising by Paws Out without prior approval. All such media remain the property of Paws Out.
